At Good News Roasters, we want you to be delighted with every sip of our faith-inspired coffee. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to make it right. This Refunds and Returns Policy outlines the process for returning products purchased through our WooCommerce online store or at our café truck. Please read carefully to understand your options.
1. Online Purchases (WooCommerce)
We accept returns for online orders under the following conditions:
- Eligibility: Returns must be requested within 14 days of receiving your order. Products must be unopened, unused, and in their original packaging.
- Non-Returnable Items: Opened or used coffee products, gift cards, and personalized items are not eligible for return unless defective.
- Return Process:

- We’ll provide a return authorization and shipping instructions.
- Ship the product back to us within 7 days of receiving the return authorization. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or we made an error.
- Refunds: Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we’ll notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed via Stripe to your original payment method within 7-10 business days. Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
Defective or Incorrect Orders: If you receive a defective or incorrect product, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We’ll provide a prepaid return label and either replace the item or issue a full refund, including shipping costs.
2. Café Truck Purchases
Purchases made at our café truck are subject to the following:
- Returns: Due to the nature of in-person purchases, returns are limited. Unopened and unused products may be returned within 7 days of purchase with a valid receipt.
- Refunds: Approved refunds will be processed via Stripe to the original payment method or as store credit, at our discretion. Cash refunds are not available.
- Defective Products: If a product purchased at the café truck is defective, contact us within 7 days. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund.
- Process: Visit the café truck during operating hours or contact us at [email protected] or 423-644-8741 to initiate a return.
3. Damaged or Lost Shipments
For online orders, if your package is damaged during shipping or lost, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date. We’ll work with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue and may offer a replacement or refund. Proof of damage (e.g., photos) may be required.
4. Cancellations
- Online Orders: You may cancel your order before it ships by contacting us at [email protected] or 423-644-8741. If the order has already shipped, it is subject to our standard return policy.
- Café Truck Orders: Cancellations are not applicable for in-person purchases.
